Computer SATRA STM 603 Computer System Footwear Slip Test Machine
This machine is designed for measuring the coefficient of friction of outsole, sole forepart or heel to determine the slip resistance of a shoe.The specimen is placed on a test platform, using the glycerin as a lubricant, subjected to a specified load, and then the test platform is moved horizontally relative to the specimen. The dynamic coefficient of friction is calculated after the dynamic frictional force is measured.
